Amazing $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

Following a brief run back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned with an encore that lasts until Dec. 2. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the entire collection is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. And there are three different bundles available here.

The Main Attraction

The big draw is definitely a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, a professional-grade cartography program that can be used to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Package Levels

Entry Level

The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This package suits existing CC3+ users, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-product collection for at least $15 is where things get more interesting through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from the company's ongoing subscription program which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

Every volume from the Annual series are included here, plus numerous additional tools and content enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on classic fantasy realm creation: battle maps, dungeons, cities, and continents from almost any perspective. You can even design character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle is so worth it, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously an even better deal for cartography beginners since it includes the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though you can redeem the deal across platforms, the applications only function on Windows.

Charitable Component

As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale supports charitable organizations. In this instance, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
