In a surprising partnership that defies usual forecasts, the game developer has announced an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Uncovered
According to the official statement, "An unusual meeting pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where rumors of prohibited practices and terrifying changes resonate through the obscurity." The plot introduces a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a hidden cult.
The mission centers on "strange trials and a terrifying foe" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Transformations
The preview features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer concludes with a striking scene showing a character, probably the captive, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Rewards and Bonus Content
Players who finish the adventure will obtain an special katana alongside numerous objects concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:

Third Free Story Update
This update also adds the game's newest no-cost story content, titled "A Puzzlement."
