Christantus Uche Fuels Comfortable Crystal Palace Win at Shelbourne.
Despite entering their maiden continental adventure, Oliver Glasner's side are learning very quickly. Without star figures like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and wing-back Daniel Muñoz, the London club left Dublin with a comfortable result that all but guarantees them a spot in the Europa Conference League playoffs.
A further three points in their upcoming fixture against Finland's KuPS should be sufficient to seal direct passage to the knockout stages, especially following a prior stumble against Strasbourg.
Squad Members Seize the Opportunity
This occasion offered a platform for several Palace's lesser-used players to impress. Christantus Uche, making only his second beginning after joining on loan from Getafe, notched the scoring with a clinical goal. Striker Eddie Nketiah contributed a second, scoring for the second game in match.

The contest was as good as over eight minutes before half-time. Yeremy Pino weaved past some weak challenges before coolly dispatching a shot past keeper Wessel Speel to extend the lead to 3-0.
Following the break, manager Oliver Glasner took the chance to withdraw key individuals like Kamada and Wharton. Substitute Romain Esse came close to scoring his very first touch, only to see his effort blocked.
Esse was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one attempt strike off each posts before being gathered on the line. Uche also missed a glaring chance, showing there is still room for development in his game.
The only concern for Palace was a late knock to Justin Devenny, who limped off. This paved the way for 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to earn his first-team debut, rounding off an otherwise positive evening for the visiting side.
