I will overwhelm 'serious fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.

Former twice world title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead attacked former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Still, the novice is still one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.

Physical Difference

As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually going ahead.
